On May 29, 2025, we had the immense honor of welcoming Prof. Riccardo Zucchi, Rector of the prestigious University of Pisa, Italy 🇮🇹, to our university 🇺🇿.

A cooperation memorandum was officially signed, marking the beginning of a promising academic partnership between our institutions. 

We are proud to announce the launch of a joint master’s program starting in 2025, opening new horizons for our students and faculty in international education and research.

In recognition of his contributions to global academia and this new collaboration, Prof. Zucchi was conferred the title of Honorary Professor of Samarkand State Medical University.
